On the 24/11/2010

For Year 2010/2011

Membership: Membership has remained steady over the last scouting year. At last years AGM we announced we had gone from having 28 Scouts to 40 Scouts in our section. This year the current number of Youth members on our books is 37. The split between Boys and Girls is fairly even, but for the first year in a very long time we have more girls with the split figures being 19 Girls to 18 Boys.

In September, we lost four of our best and brightest Scouts who left us to go into the Venturer Section. They have played an absolutely epic role in our Scout Troop over the years and where the mainstay of the team who finally brought the County Challenge home. We wish them the very best and hope to see them as leaders in our Group very shortly.

Leaders :

We would like to thank Amy and Paul for all their commitment, dedication and time they gave to our sections and wish them all the best in their new postings within our Group. Coming in we have Gally who started with us in September and thus far has proved a massive asset., bringing with him massive experience and a wealth of ideas.
